We would like to welcome the newest addition to our stallion line-up, Bound And Determined (No Boundaries x Encores Candy) . "Deiter" is a beautiful, 15-3 hand, HYPP N/N stallion who is just starting his show career. He is a big powerful stallion with a great natural neck. The Ranch and Us

avid hiker and takes her three Border Collies to some great locations
year round..
The lovely red female in the front is Abby (SCR Just Jake x RS Sadie)
and her full baby sister, Blue is behind her.
The
next litters from both RS Sadie and RS Mint Patty should be arriving in
mid November, just in time for Christmas puppies. Let us know if
you are looking for one, two are already sold.

"Piñata" will be shown in Junior Western Pleasure for the remaining portion of 2009 by Hal Schiffner and in Amateur by April. Watch for her in 2010 in Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle and Showmanship. With limited exposure to the show pen she has a few Halter and Western Pleasure points! Razmataz Rose - 2008 AQHA Palomino filly sired by Morrison and out of Heart Of Summer (123 AQHA Halter Points). In the barn and ready to show. Located in Moab, UT. We also have several started two year olds for sale, very reasonably. Also a few yearlings, halter, pleasure and reiners.
A change for the breeding season of 2010 - we are aware that many breeders are struggling during these times, so to that effect we have elected to reduce our collection/shipping fees for transported cooled semen in 2010 to $200 per shipment. That does include two doses of cooled semen. We hope that this will make it more economical for our mare owners in 2010.
Bits and Pieces and Where To Find Us
The futurity season is in full swing. The hay is off the fields and our broodmares have been turned back out on 100 acres of alfalfa/grass pasture for Fall and Winter. We want to thank you for bringing us your very best mares for 2009! We realize you have a choice of services and thank you for allowing us to serve your breeding and training needs. The number of mares bred in 2009 was up for the third year in a row over the previous year, this time by 5%!
Please check out the stallions donated for The Best Of The West at: www.bestofthewestutah.com Please consider donating a breeding to your stallion for the 2010 season. Last year Best Of The West awarded nearly $10,000 in just it's second year. Checks are written on the spot, you take it home with you! To be eligible, stallions must stand in Utah or be owned by someone who lives in Utah. This is a rapidly growing program, come and share and be a part of it.
September 11-12 we will be at the 3rd annual Best Of The West stallion Service and Open Slot Futurity in Ogden, UT. There is a pre-show barbecue Friday night, everyone is welcome! Check out this innovative program for Utah Stallions and Mare Owners.
September 13 we will be at the APHA show in Loveland, Colorado.
September 16-20 we can be found at the Heritage Ranch Fall Futurity Show (AQHA and APHA)in Ogden, UT.
